The treasurer's report was printed for each board member. There will be a second installment arriving at the end of September of more than $7500.00. The park district paid Gerald because it will be a while until the Com Ed bill arrives and all of River Days things are finalized.
The total amount of bills for August was: $2514.43. The Spahn & Rose $30.99 is a tax amount that was to be taken off earlier. Darla will speak to them about that once again. Dee moved we pay the August bills and Angie seconded the motion. It was approved.
The donation sign for the lower shelter house has been ordered by Dee. Thank you notes have been sent by Barb to Travis Hagen, Bob Patin, Speedy and Angela Martinez. The new playground equipment checklist is now in the hands of Angela Martinez. She will be checking the playground equipment.

The Citizen's Complaint Form will have Park Board members listed with their phone numbers and park duties. The public will have access to this form in case they have improvements or complaints with the park. This form will be laminated and placed in the display case. Board members will have other forms for the public as they request them.
Discussion on the bleachers was tabled until the September meeting.
It was suggested we purchased a Sam's Club card for the park district. We need supplies for the bathrooms, (paper goods) and party prizes, food and decorations in October and March/April. Angie and Dee will check into getting a card and purchasing the Halloween items needed at a reduced price. Angie, Dee, and Darla will head up the committee for the Halloween Party. It was suggested to host the park Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Lawrence Janike needs to do 100 community hours. His phone number is XXX-XXXX; he lives at XXX XXXXXXX St. We are asking Gerald to assist in helping him find park work &/or interior maintenance building work to help accumulate these hours. Dee moved we have Edler come in and fix the water line from the pit in the Park Building, hose hook-up placed on the outside of the building and a meter outside for Dennis Bunker; easier access for water readings. Angie seconded the motion. It carried. We need to request water shut-off with Denny Bunker when this work will begin.
